What you need to know
The Dog Zone welcomes all friendly pets that are in good general health. Owners must provide veterinary proof of all current vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper / Parvo).
For dogs that sign up for our Daycare or overnight Boarding must spayed or neutered by one year old.
For peace of mind and safety of all, The Dog Zone has developed a comprehensive screening process. Our facility may not be suited for all dogs and The Dog Zone reserves the right not to admit some dogs based on temperament and level of sociability.
The Dog Zone does not sell or share personal client information for third party marketing purposes.
Boarding Deposits & Cancellations:
To secure an overnight Boarding reservation you will be required to provide a deposit. The required minimum deposit will be $74.00 or the cost of 2 nights of boarding, whichever is greater, (unless your boarding reservation is valued at less than $74.00 (eg. 1 night), in which case your deposit will be the cost of the boarding). Extended overnight Boarding stays may require a further deposit in addition to the above minimum.
Cancellation, Changes and Forfeiture of Deposits:
At the end of your dogs overnight Boarding stay, all deposits will be applied towards the cost of the boarding, except that your deposit will be forfeited if you fail to comply with the following cancellation and changes policies:

If you wish to cancel a boarding reservation, you must do so at least three (3) days in advance of the start of your reservation.

Any changes to reduce the number of nights on your reservation must be made at least three (3) days in advance of the start of your reservation.

You must pick up your pet promptly at the end of the boarding reservation period as scheduled, unless The Dog Zone agrees in advance to extend the reservation and you pay all relevant fees for such extension. (Note: The Dog Zone may not always have additional capacity to extend a reservation, especially on short notice.)
If a cancellation or change of a boarding reservation is not made in accordance with this policy, your deposit will be forfeited and you will also be responsible for all relevant boarding and other fees incurred.
After Hours Fees:
Pets picked up after closing will be charged a $10 late fee per dog. Any pets not picked up 15 minutes after closing will be required to board overnight with additional boarding and meal charges made responsible to the owner. Please note: Pets that are not picked up on a Saturday before closing will be boarded until the next business day and billed accordingly for the addition night(s). Additional food provided by The Dog Zone will also be billed to the owner.
*All pets must meet The Dog Zone’s requirements.
*All pets found with fleas and/or ticks will be isolated, bathed and owners charged accordingly.
*Pets in need of medical attention will be treated as needed and all veterinary and transportation fees will be billed to the owner.
